I own an '03 BMW 325i and realise how much the cost can run away with you on the old BMW's. Andy and his team worked hard to keep the cost realistic and recommended only essential work. However, the real bonus here is the service. For how long have car owners moaned about being treated like an idiot and expected to unquestioningly cough up a fortune because 'that's what the car needs?' All the staff at B for BMW were courteous and friendly,and seemed genuinely interested in helping. I seemed to spend more time under the car being shown exactly what was happening (all explained in clear, jargon free terms) than I actually did waiting. When I discovered a problem with the brakes, Andy's guys spent two hours diagnosing the problem, provided me with a courtesy car and found the fault- two rotten back plates. I then received my bill: £24! At every stage I felt in control and consulted. I even actually learned a lot along the way. As a result, I had a very strange experience- I actually left a car garage with a broad grin. I urge you to try it- you won't be disappointed. I know there is a negative review here, but you can't please all the people all the time. During my visit I ended up talking to two other customers, both of whom had nothing but glowing reports to make about the experience. Life is hard enough- but these guys made one part of it so much easier.
